Terms of Service

Effective date: April 6, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of AppealPilot’s website and services. By using AppealPilot, you agree to these Terms.

Description of services

AppealPilot offers Georgia property tax appeal support, including:

  • DIY Appeal Kit — a flat fee of $79 for tools, templates, comparable-sales research, and related materials to help you prepare and file your own appeal; and
  • Full-Service appeals — representation and coordination services priced at 30% of first-year tax savings when you choose that plan and authorize us as described below, subject to the specific agreement presented at checkout or enrollment.

County filing fees, if any, are separate and paid by you to the county unless otherwise stated in writing.

Payment and refunds

You agree to pay all fees shown at checkout or in your order confirmation. For the DIY Kit, if your county does not reduce your assessed value for the appeal covered by your purchase, you may request a 100% refund of the DIY Kit fee in accordance with the refund terms published at the time of purchase (including any documentation or deadline requirements we specify). Other fees, third-party charges, and full-service arrangements follow the pricing and refund rules stated when you enroll.

No guarantee of outcome

Property tax appeals depend on county procedures, evidence, and discretion of assessors or boards. AppealPilot does not guarantee any particular assessment reduction, tax savings, hearing result, or timeline. Examples and calculators on our site are illustrative only.

Not a law firm; not legal advice

AppealPilot is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Nothing on our site or in our deliverables is a substitute for advice from a qualified attorney or tax professional. You are responsible for your filings and decisions.

Authorization of agent (full-service)

If you select full-service, you may be asked to authorize AppealPilot to act on your behalf in connection with your property tax appeal, consistent with applicable Georgia law, including authorization of an agent under O.C.G.A. § 48-5-311 where applicable. You agree to provide accurate information and to sign or submit any authorization we reasonably require. Scope of representation is limited to the services you purchase and any written agreement between you and AppealPilot.

Georgia jurisdiction

AppealPilot’s services are focused on Georgia property tax appeals. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that exclusive jurisdiction and venue for disputes arising out of these Terms or the services shall lie in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above will reflect the current version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.
